Book Market Donation Guidelines
Thank you for thinking of the Friends of the Ocala Public Library! Your generous donations directly stock the shelves of The Book Market (our bookstore inside the Headquarters-Ocala Library) and fund our community book sales. 100% of the proceeds go right back into supporting literacy programs, branch needs, and county-wide library publications.
When & Where to Donate
We gladly accept donations Monday – Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM at The Book Market, inside the Headquarters-Ocala Public Library at 2720 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL. Please bring your items directly to the bookstore during operating hours. Do not place donations in the regular library book drop bins. There is a 3-box limit.
What to Donate
The IRS only permits tax deductions for donations of items in good condition. When deciding what to pack up, ask yourself: “Would I give this item to a close friend?” If the answer is yes, we would love to have it!
