19sep11:00 amFlorida’s Proposed Amendments ExplainedBECOME AN INFORMED VOTER!

Event Details

Florida citizens have a chance to change their constitution every two years through the amendment process. Former County Commissioner Judy Johnson will present the pros and cons of the proposed amendments that will be on the 2026 ballot. Johnson has discussed these ballot initiatives for several years to full-capacity crowds. Come hear how voting “yes” or “no” will make a difference in Florida’s future, and in your future as well! Meet with us at 11 a.m., Saturday, September 19, in Meeting Room C of the Headquarters-Ocala Public Library.

There will be a brief annual Friends meeting at 10:30 a.m., prior to the program. We will be voting on new members and officers, and it is important to have a quorum of the membership for voting purposes. At noon, after the Amendments program, there will be a Board meeting for the Friends of the Ocala Library.
